When I used WordPress, I hated using their web interface when writing and the iOS app was okay.1 One of the best tools I found to help with managing my writing and posting was MarsEdit. I loved using MarsEdit. It stored everything in one place. You could create your preview to see what the post would look like before making it live, and of course, you could publish from the tool, including images.
The bummer was that many blogging platforms did not support the communication protocol, and it only worked from a Mac.
When writing the previous posts, about how I was using Bear & Shortcuts I was thinking about what I was trying to do in the big picture. I have recreated my version of MarsEdit for all my computing platforms.
It may be a lot better now I have not used it in some time.↩︎
